The treatment session began with a thorough consultation with the esthetician. She examined my skin for any problem areas and addressed my skin concerns and habits. I expressed that I often get frustrated at the blackheads and whiteheads embedded in my skin. As well as how because of that, it makes my skin more textured and uneven. From that, I was assured that the facial treatment would be customized to improve my skin concerns. 

Easing me into the facial, the esthetician gave me a cool crystal eye massage and a stimulating head massage. This was followed by an ultrasonic scrubber to slough away any impurities. The gentle buzz and metallic hum of the device against my skin reminded me of a soothing ASMR experience. 

A few steps later, it was time for the much-raved and anticipated facial extractions. Unlike other facials, this extraction process used a pore-refining mask to cover my face. The beautician lifted the mask in different areas as she extracted it and put it back on as she finished. This allows it to soothe the skin and minimize redness. The beautician explained that this process also softens the pores for a more comfortable extraction. 

Throughout the facial, I was indulged in a series of deeply relaxing massages. With my favourite one being the host stone massage, where electronically charged hot “stones” were used to massage my shoulder and neck area. The warm sensation eased out some knots and tension I had. This was the first time I’ve experienced a hot stone massage with my facial experience. 

Results 

After the facial I found my skin feeling all around smoother! Not to mention the red spot on my nose healed quickly too! The patches found on my cheeks were a lot less dry and flakey as well. My skin had looked more radiant than it ever did before! It’s not hard to understand why this is an award-winning facial after experiencing it myself.
